the university of california, los angeles (generally known as ucla) is a public research university located in the westwood neighborhood of los angeles, california. it was founded in 1919, and is the second oldest of the ten major campuses affiliated with the university of california system. ucla offers over 300 undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a wide range of disciplines and enrolls about 26,000 undergraduate and about 11,000 graduate students from the United States and around the world every year. it is the only leading research institution in the world founded in the 20th century. ucla is organized into five undergraduate colleges, seven professional schools, and five professional health science schools.
the basis of this small pb community is that the students are freshman college students living in the same dorm together; the rieber vista. the rieber vista is one of the residential plazas located on campus. the layout of the rieber vista. you can either chose to have the private bath (please indicate the two or three person shared private bath) or the shared bath. roommates must be of the same gender. so welcome to ucla, class of 2013! going away to college is a learning experience, not just academically, but personally and socially, too. a campus is a place of self-discovery where you belong to a community of diverse students, some of whom will become your life-long friends. where and whom you live with is critical to your future.
